When I finally can move to The Villages, I am going to need all kind of services. Seniors Against Crime is a great organization, but they will only tell you yes or no after you give them 3 prospective Companies or people. I whish there was vetted list. I do come in here once in a while and write some names down. Keep them coming, it is very hard when you are new and you need so much done. Wish I was there!

TOTV has great recommendations, but if you know your area within TV you could also use Nextdoor. Very good local site.

Angies list or Talk of the Villages using the search key in the banner, or the contractors column. Make your choice then ask other TOTV users if they have used whoever you choose. This will help you make an informed decision. ALWAYS ASK TO SEE THE INSURANCE BINDER. As a painting co I'm always amazed at the number of Licensed contractors when there is none offered for my trade. Do NOT hire David Hummel. He was a nightmare. He thinks he is "jack of all trades" but is definitely master of none. We hired him to do handyman work and he ended up making things worse. Then when we confronted him about the issues, he yelled obscenities. Do NOT hire him for anything.
