None. They did a terrible job on my driveway and I had to have it completely sanded and redone by a reliable company - Florida Deck - the best in TV.

Aristicrete ruined by driveway. Promised to come fix numerous errors and never showed. Don't answer phone calls. Had people working on by driveway at 8:30pm at night in the dark in January 2014. Had a medalion painted at my front door that had 25 errors - horrible. They promised to come & fix but never showed. Avoid them. Might be the cheapest but you get what you pay for!!!

Default Aristicrete - avoid them

Horrible. Promise you that they will fix all the errors and never show. Don't answer phone calls. Not quality workmanship. All novices and don't know what they are doing. If you want quality go with RAM or Florida Deck.

Default ArtistiCrete in Ontario is great!

A family friend had work done a few years ago by ArtistiCrete in Canada and they did lovely work, if fact they just did work on my street and it's really impressive. I don't think they are a franchise or anything, must just have the same name, anyway thought I would chime in to say that I hope the previous comment hasn't confused anyone. The owner is Ron or Rob I think, a really honest guy with some great talent.

Default Two strikes....

When we first moved here, we wanted our driveway done. I called Artisticrete twice to have them consult with us about doing a design in our driveway and they never returned my calls. I figured if they didn't need my business so I didn't do business with them.

Salesman was very nice and told us our job would take 4 days. Ended up almost two weeks. Workers came very late, and they wanted to continue to work until 9pm in the dark. On several days they never showed up and calls were not returned by the office. One day the workers made a pattern that was opposite of what we asked for, when I tried to explain he shrugged and said he did not speak English so I told him to stop working. The next day another group of workers came and told us the crew from the day before knew how to speak English but use that as an excuse. Finished job looked good, but I had several questions and called the office and never got a return call. Would not recommend them.

We had Aristocrete do our lanai and patio about 4 years ago and for the most part we are satisfied. However, we had one small part (about 1 inch in diameter) start to deteriorate about 15 months after installed. The mixture laid down was covered with sealer and as it wore there was an area that essentially was not bonded properly. Aristocrete rep said that it was beyond warranty and refused to correct it and indicated a need to pay around $100 to fix and reseal.

I have read all of these posts talking about redoing, driveways, garages and/or lanais, my question is do we need to do this? Why? and what will happen if I don't? I'm so confused. When I finally get there in January, I don't know what I really need to have done and what I don't. Attic and garage cooling, paving, painting floors, draining lanai, gutters, water softeners, cooleroos, garage screens, solar tubes, I am so confused, I think I'm going nuts just thinking about it.

Cool

I agree with you...it can get very confusing trying to determine what you need to do .vs. what is nice to do.

All the items in your list are in my "nice to do" category.

In keeping with the topic of this thread, certainly, no one needs to have their driveway painted. But, it does look nice.

You don't need to have anything done.

If you leave your driveway "as-is" you will probably want to pressure wash it one a year as they can get pretty gnarly looking.

Try GO Concrete - David 352-598-3160. They just did a HUGE lanai job for us and it is perfect! Workers are polite, on time, listen to what you want. It was a no hassle, on time job. Highly recommend them.
