Be sure to look into Vonage as well. I believe we pay about $15/ month for our plan. Have had it since we moved in three years ago.

You don't have to have a land line phone if you don't want....try it and see how you get along. If you find you'd be happier with one, then Comcast or Century Link can provide the service for you.

LOL.....maybe so, but feeling safer, at least in my mind, is worth the additional expense...and truly, it's not that much for peace of mind.... :D
