Beck's (now Ray's) accepts credit cards for payment, which I highly recommend for any contracted work.

We just called Beck’s for a dryer repair, and his widow answered “Dave’s Appliance Repair”, not Ray’s. Unfortunately, he can’t come until Monday (it’s Friday now), and we have wet towels sitting in the dryer. Does anyone have any other recommendations for a repair person who might be available sooner? We called Bob’s, Jerry’s, and Beck’s (Dave’s). The first two are also not available until next week. Our dryer is a GE less than 2 years old. Can’t hurt to ask.

TIA! Debbie

I have 2 other names, but I have never used them.

DeSantis, 352-254-4634
Jim, 352-216-8324

Have you checked to see if the breaker in the electrical panel is tripped?

Thank you! Yes, hubby had to shut off at the breaker because the machine started ringing right after I started it, and wouldn’t stop or shut off with the buttons. It was showing error code 20. One weird thing that we discovered is the dryer was full of moisture when I opened the door to add the towels. It hadn’t been used since last Sunday.

We tried the DeSantis number and it was a recording about car insurance. The number for Jim just made weird beeping sounds.

Sorry, those must be old numbers. I googled DeSantis, and got the following number:

(352) 641-0988

I have heard some good things about them.
