Do you know that there is an amazing woodworking shop at The Villages? We've toured it twice and my understanding is that you can commission a piece to be built for you. You might want to check that out.

That is correct. Go down to the wood shop on Monday, Wednesday or Friday and talk to the person at the desk. Normally you pay for the materials and a possible donation of what you are comfortable with. They will get it done for you!
