Default Garage door opener

Door will open no problem with controller or remote....but remote will not work to close the garage door....the controller will work if you hold the button down until it is closed all the way Down

Any ideas how to fix this?

Thanks

Replace the battery in the Remote & check to make sure nothing is blocking the electric eyes at the bottom of the door frame.

I hope this does it.

The battery Would not have any affect on the controller. She said it would not even go all the way down without holding the controler. This doesn't having anything to do with the battery.

Could be that the sensor at the bottom is out of alignment and needs adjustment, thus catching the door and preventing it from closing. Or it could be a bad sensor. Call warranty and get some help with that.
