We used Munns. Just make sure they install the baffles so the soffits stay open for air flow. Yes doing the space over the garage made a BIG difference both seasons

Sorry, but over time, blown-in insulation always moves due to the airflow (wind) from your attic vents around the soffit.
Batting never moves and you can get a much better R-factor in batting than you can in blown-in insulation.

Solar guys did our home. Ignore the negative congrats moments about blown in insulation. Those comments are incorrect. I’ve had blown in insulation in many homes and have never had a problem.
