Anyone who does electrical work must be licensed - do not just hire a handyman.

so let me get this straight, I can purchase a ceiling fan from Home depot or Lowe's and install it in my own home myself or I can have my son.uncle.neighbor, anyone who I think is capable except a Handyman? It is my property and I can hire whomever I believe is qualified to do the work. America is still a free country, so far

precisely. Certified Lawn Cutter I suspect someone is going to tell me my guy has to have 100 credits of training before he cuts my lawn.

I installed ten ceiling fans over the years with or without lights. None wabbled but the electrican that installed my fans here could never get it balanced
