I just got my electronic statement from Comcast and took the time to read all the fine print. They have a pretty significant rate increase coming up Jan 1. I haven't fully digested what this means to me but here are some highlights.

Small DTA adaptors are going from 3.99 to 5.99 per month. I have 3 of these in seldom used rooms. Will probably turn them in for a single $10 box that I can move around.

They have renamed their bundles and I can't find a reasonable match for the bundle I have now (triple play X1 HD Premier XF) that I now pay $159 for. It does appear to me that none of the bundles includes HBO, you would have to pay $15/month add on for it. Some bundles do include starz, showtime, the movie channel, but, no HBO. The bundle prices have increased and HBO has been removed. Arrrgh.

I am on a 2 year contract that expires in Feb, so, it'll be time to try to renegotiate or finally cut the cord.

Anybody else done any further analysis on these new rates???
