That is about right, $110 to $130 a square foot depending on what you do and what you select for the extras.

A friend added on to her Mandeville a couple of years ago. She extended the master bedroom considerably and added a family room, and also enlarged the kitchen and the dining room.

I believe it cost her about 50K.

There are too many variables to give a quote without seeing the job

I would suggest getting three quotes from reputable builders. Check with Home Warranty for some names. Ask for references if they are not volunteered.

I had a wall extended to gain more room in my Florida room. Got three bids.
Two were within one hundred dollars of each other. The third was one hundred and fifty per cent above the other two.

Let them know you are getting other bids. Beware of someone under bidding to get the job. They will probably disappoint you.
