I had Direct TV when I lived in Alaska as I didn't have cable offered in the area I lived. We had horrible snow storms, rain, etc.. I very seldom had an outage and most of my TV watching is on the DVR so it was fine. Loved the programming much better than Brighthouse.. Just my preference. I did sign up with Brighthouse here in The Villages but am disappointed in the Guide, services, etc.. Direct TV is better in my opinion on the technology side. I may wait for 6 months and see how it goes, but I am ready to switch back to Direct TV.
