Re: Dish VS Direct
Had DISH and changed back to Comcast because we lost service when it rained or storms came in.

Re: Dish VS Direct
DirecTV has the most HD channels, and gets high marks for customer service. We have had it for several years and rate it high. Consumer Reports just rated it highest for HD channels, btw. We don't live in TV, but live in the midwest. You lose the signal briefly when you have very heavy rain or snow, but it happens infrequently to us, and resumes quickly most of the time.

Re: Dish VS Direct
I have had dish for many years and in the past few years their customer service is terrible and I mean bad. I'm considering Direct TV or going back to cable Handie :joke:

Re: Dish VS Direct
We have had Direct TV in CA for the past 5 years. We had Comcast for a long time but got tired of the annual increases. When it was around $65 a month we went to Direct TV. Now pay about $105 to Direct TV! And no HBO type channels.
Can't win!
