We have noticed many driveways in patio villa neighborhoods that have been extended on both sides to create a larger driveway. Does anyone know of a contractor who does this?

We had ours widened as we live in a Patio Villa. We used Whites Electric ( I know it sounds incongruous) and it turned out great. Just know that the widened area is on your property but your neighbor may not. The company probably will require a release from that owner.
AND you'll have to get by the powers that be (your company should do that).
Well worth the time and expense.
