Default Duct Cleaning

We are thinking that we should get our dryer duct clean and I guess the rest of the ducts in the house. There are a few companies out there and the prices vary. Any good recommendations???

If you have fiberglass a/c flex ducts-DO NOT let anyone touch them.

Dryer vents --any monkey can clean them --not rocket science

I strongly recommend Marchants Airduct Cleaning. He did ours back in June, did a great job, is licensed and insured and gives free estimates. 259-9193.

So if you have fiberglass flex ducts and no one should touch them, how are they to be cleaned if they do get dirty?

You don't clean them, use good air filters, if our air filters are doing their job, your ducts don't need cleaning--do a little research on duct cleaning--one of the biggest rip off scams ever It has suddenly bloomed into a billion $$ scam-- your air quality will not improve after getting your ducts cleaned

Better choice-get your house checked for mold & indoor air pollution-not cheap but worth it' we did that when we had bought a condo , that wasn't lived in & the power was turned off for a considerable period of time.

I agree. If you keep your filter changed routinely, your ducts will be fine.

Dryer duct yes, HVAC ducts no. Do a search on this forum for dryer duct cleaning, I believe there is one guy on this forum that comes highly recommended.
