If the "no shade" issue is supposed to be fixed (how?), I was not aware of this, nor have I heard anything that this was going to happen.

The Developer finally provided Atlas Dog Park; unfortunately it's not very conveniently located for lots of residents.
For those of us who live in the Northern part of The Villages, DDRR is a godsend.
We've been going there since 2007 and love it!
It's a private dog park with a charge for use; and therefore is open to everyone.

I had heard that the Atlas Dog park was closed for about a week a few months ago and the big dog section maybe a few days more. But I got conflicting stories from some people who came to Doggie Doo Run Run because Atlas Dog Park was shut down.

Don't quote me on this, but I believe Atlas was temporarily closed for some kind of maintenance.
