We used J.A. Pavers 3 years ago. No broken pavers, nice layout. Would recommend them very highly.

Call Sue Johnson at 352-259-3671.

Default The Floor Shop

I had it done 5 years ago. Some are broken every year . There are two broken out there now and some that they have replaced are of a denser thickness. The guarantee is for life but I get a ****ed off attitude when I call.

My neighbor had them put in and wishes that he hadn't. Whereas the driveway was constructed to be lower than the garage to allow water to flow away, when the pavers were put in it raised the level and now he gets water in his garage during hard rains.

I had it done 6 years ago and there are always a few broken. My brother just has his driveway coated for $ 1800 by Fl. Deck and I would do the same if I had it to do over again. It looks great and nothing to break

Their is a villager who seals them and advertises in the paper.Even he advises against them unless you do the correct way.Removing concrete and put full pavers in.

The Villages' idea of paver veneer on hard concrete is a complete mis-application of "pavers'. Don't complain when they crack, shift, the edge pavers become unglued, get moldy, need bi-annual sealing, the base sand washes away.etc. If I were spending the big bucks, I'd heed the comments above and those on other threads.
(I'm not the villiger that seals them, just someone who knows better.)

We changed out our driveway, walkway and front porch with pavers from Five Star in Fruitland Park. There are different types of pavers, so do it right the first time. "Victor" is the owner now and does a fantastic job. He delivered what he promised. His guys were efficient, and were here ON TIME just like promised.

Old World pavers did our driveway and front walkway 4 years ago. They still look great. We have had none break or crack nor have they had to be resanded or resealed. I would recommend them.

Default We are the ones with the dirty concrete driveway!

We have admired pavers but have noticed many homeowners that are repairing their driveway many times....I've also noticed in magazines, concrete driveways that have been stamped to look like cobblestone....Not sure if this is done in the Villages and how it holds up!...Anyone know?

Default Pavers Don't Last

I had pavers for 5 years and gave up repairing broken ones.
I then had ARISTICRETE put colored concrete on it.
I am not satisfied with the job and thay will not reply to phone calls.

BEWARE of ARISTICRETE

Default Paradise Pavers

We had our driveway done by Paradise Pavers, and are completely happy with the work and price. Great people to work with. Neil and Heather. 352-753-2156

Default pavers vs. textured concrete or painting

All great info although does anyone have a preference on a textured artistic design and painting, or should i consider having some type of paver installed instead? pros and cons...Differences in pricing. Like a ballpark figure.
