Yes. I am fully aware that there exists sanctimonious low life busybodies who make other peoples lives more difficult for no other reason than they get some sort of thrill out of it.

That is why I only expanded the width by 2ft and not 4 ft.

And BTW, several others have done it after me in my hood.

Hopefully the "busyBodies" don't find you and your neighbors since you have jus ratted them out...

So do you always laugh at your own jokes?

There is nothing to rat out. The modifications are in plain sight. Nice try.

"Several other people have done it" will not work as a defense. Just ask the folks in Hallendale Villas.

I agree with you. It would be a minor expense to comply. But it would make my driveway an eyesore so I don't expect anyone to complain.

I also will have to disclose it to any potential seller.

Not that it is a defense but the new homes are now making their driveways the same way as the modified driveways.

Default Partial Driveway Widening

We just widened the golf cart area of the driveway about halfway down to the street. Did not increase the driveway footprint on the street. Contacted several know concrete companies for estimates. The wait period was anything from 4-5 months for installation to...we'll put you on our wait list for estimates. Because this was a small job many did not even want to give an estimate.

Discovered MAR Concrete and Curbing, Miguel Rodriguez, (352) 636-6473 on TOV.

Outstanding company, good price, great work, on-time, and great results. Exactly what we wanted, could not be happier. From estimate to completion, 3 weeks. Could have been completed sooner however we needed ARC approval even though it did not go to the street.

ARC approval process was easy and simple. Follow the instructions on the ARC site. The office staff very helpful and reviewed our application.

If in CYV I would think pavers would be better idea, at least you can remove the pavers if there utilities problem and put them back down afterwards. Seen one Cyv where the paver’s the whole front yard.
