Default Electrican Recommendation

Looking to hire an Electrican to undertake a series of improvements such as:

1. Installing kitchen under cabinet lights.
2. Install coaxial cable outlets in multiple rooms.
3. Install CAT 5 line and terminal in multiple rooms.
4. Install outdoor exterior facade accent lighting.

Please share experiences with electricans and offer recommendations.

Thank you in advance.

I have used Lehart's, ECI, Galaxy, and R&A for various projects. All were fine, except for Galaxy, as the repair they did I may need to redo.

We used R & A Industries. They aren't the cheapest, but everything was done as we wished. Have recommended them to other friends and they had the same experience.

Cliff or Tracy with Pike Electric, or Kevin with Lenhart. All three are excellent, professional electricians.

Tried Alex. Told him I wanted under cabinet task lighting. He had a box full of LED tape lights to show us. We picked one we thought would work. He installed. Did not clean up on top of cabinets where he drilled holes in wall. Tape lights were not bright enough. Called him back told him our bad, we wanted brighter and we want the lights wired to wall switch, not just the remote he provided. Realized we'd have to pay more, but were willing to since it did require more wiring on his part. He said no problem, just had to order part. Haven't heard from him since, and we've called numerous times. It has been two months.

Default Excellent Resource

If you're considering hiring an electrician (as opposed to going through a known company such as Pike, Lenhart, etc.) it never hurts to verify the person is actually licensed. Follow the link below, using either the person's name or contractor license number.

THANKS EVERYBODY FOR YOUR INPUT.....NEITHER LENHART NOR PIKE'S WILL get my business or my neighbor's and brother's. They only operate their business during regular business hours without regard for those of us who live and still work in the Villages......I have a huge kitchen project and so does my brother with recessed lighting, pendant lights and entire redesign. We will try the others recommended here!
