Default European Grandfather Clock Repair

My European grandfather clock suddenly stopped working.... so I am thinking that maybe it just needs cleaning and oiling. I would feel more comfortable having it fixed in TV unless someone knows of a reputable clock repair place elsewhere? I did find some references in TOTV from a few years back so I am wondering if there are any recent or different recommendations anyone can give me? Thanks!

Strongly reccomend Joseph Gibbs. (352)223-8730. Lives in the Villages. He made repairs to our clock which is over 120 years old. Knew exactly what was needed, fixed it very timely and I thought very reasonable. You'll like him.

I have never used him but I saved this from a TOTV thread in case mine dies:

Grandfather Clock Repair

Call Larry Clark at 352-391-2111. Larry knows grandfather clocks and has his own business - and is a Villages resident. Heck of a nice guy, too.
