We used Tim the Toolman for this. He does a great job - is prompt, polite and clean. He also did our garage stairs. I know many others here have used him as well. I can't locate his contact info - but I know others have posted it here on TOTV. k |
if you are thinking of staining try:
cost less fred at 352-750-1595 90% of his work is in TV, so that speaks for itself. |
lanai and garage flooring
We had river rock put on our lanai floor and the garage floor and get wonderful compliments on how it looks. if you want to come over to see it, send me an email junewatkins@att.net and we can arrange a time. Also, we are selling our 48" tempered glass lanai table and 4 swivel chairs for $200. if you want to see pics send me an email and I can attach pics. Guess I could also send pics of the floor. we love it.

mulligan, I looked at the Sherwin-Williams website. Are you getting the H&C Shield-Crete? I didn't know S-W had that and it looks interesting.
katezbox, I have Tim Miller's phone number and I'm going to call him. ajbrown, Thanks. I'm sure you HAVE given your floor coating a workout! |
Our epoxy (water-based) coating with the flakes in it lost the base color within a year and has tire marks on it, as well. The area that lost color is by the garage door and it got rained on.

Carla B, do you recall the brand you used? Thanks.

It was Quikrete Epoxy Garage Floor Coating. My husband, a pack rat, still has the can, so that's how I know. You can google it and find many reviews on it.

Massapequa Girl
I'm originally from Massapequa. Class of 1970. South of Merrick Road. Just moved here from Valley Forge, PA. Didn't get a chance to visit "All American Burger" before we left .

I epoxy coated my garage in Ohio seven years ago. Hot tires have lifted the paint and it looks terrible. Is there any reason that wouldn't happen in Florida? It seems everyone I know has had the same problem. Wouldn't the staining last longer?
