Default First Village Rentals Arrests

A few years ago, the subject of First Village Rentals was a big deal here in this forum. The owners of that company, Chris and Danyell Norris, were accused of ripping off homeowners and tennants alike as part of a real estate property management scheme. Many TOTV members posted concerning their experiences with First Village Rentals (none had good experiences, that I remember). Anyway, in this mornings issue of The Villages Daily Sun (3-25-11), on Page C-4, in the "Law Enforcement Briefs" Section, is a short article about Chris and Danyell. They have both been arrested (away from TV), sent back to Sumter County and charged with Organized Fraud. The paper said there were over 70 complaints against them totaling over $181,000 in losses.

Great job by everyone involved, especially to the Sumter County Sheriff's Department for their two year investigation into this.

Bryan,

I just reactivated the old thread with many TOTV postings about these people.

Does anyone have an update on this case since they were arrested?
