Default Flooring

We may be moving to the Villages soon and would like to install either hardwood or laminate flooring in our great room. Can anyone recommend some businesses who do a good job at this?

Beachgirl, if you do a search on TOTV for wood and tile floors, you'll see a lot of information on contractors. This has been an ongoing question for a long time.

I tore up all the rugs in my new house in Hadley and put down hardwood through out. Loved the job that Floormasters did for me. They are located on CR 301 between 466 and 466A.

Please tell them TOTV sent you because I've been trying to get them to advertise.

We used Village Flooring in Fruitland Park. We did our entire house with laminate. James does a wonderful job, and it was 1/2 the price of Great Lakes Flooring.

if you're original flooring is unused (ie: hadn't moved in), some places may give you a credit on it. ask TV sales rep who originally installed your flooring and ask them. I think FloorMasters is one of the ones who will do that.

there is another thread out there somewhere on this.

Default Thanks for Info

Thanks for all the info. We are buying a new villa that already has carpet installed. I wouldn't think they would take that back. If anyone knows differently, please let me know.

beach, read the previous post from johnN, if you bought new but haven't moved in yet some businesses will give you a credit (discount) for the carpet they remove.

All in One Flooring did a great job on lv2rdhd's home. He had diagonal tiling put in, which is not easy and they did a beautiful job.

Beachgirl,

Floormasters installed our carpet in our new home. We hadn't moved in yet and contacted them. They removed the carpet and gave us credit. We then had ceramic tile installed. They did and excellent job. Highly recommend them.
