Default Flooring Experiences

Planning to replace carpet with new flooring. Thinking about tile and would appreciate any info regarding good contractor experiences. Thanks!

We have used Alexander Tile and Marble for 3 different jobs and always very satisfied with the job.

I am a retiree from Shaw Floors. Roberto's in Colony Plaza installed our engineered hardwood and we were very happy with them.

Alexander Tile and Marble. Just did a custom job for me with Italian porcelain tile which resembles old world European of two varieties of the same line throughout the whole house. They also arranged demolition of the former wood and tile floor. A huge job. 16 x 16 and then small tiles 4 x8 for borders and larger areas. Definitely a tedious job. And expensive tile. They did a fabulous job, you cannot even see the grout lines. Highly recommend them. We had no issues and it is a husband and wife owner.

We are totally pleased with the floor replacements done by A.N.W. Flooring from Belleview. Very easy to work with, supplied lots of samples and good suggestions. Owner's name is "Adam" and he can be reached at 352-502-1650. This is a third generation family owned business and they do excellent work. We were very impressed by how well they cleaned up every day before leaving. Price was very competitive and the whole process was most pleasant.

I would definitely recommend Great Lakes Carpet & Tile in Wildwood. (There’s also a store in Lady Lake but we dealt with the Wildwood store). We bought porcelain tile there & it was installed by them. We looked at the Floor Shop & Village Flooring but the showroom experience was underwhelming. The Villages Warranty Department gave me the names of 3 companies they used & we’re glad we chose Great Lakes!
