Default Garage Door Insulation

The front of my house faces due south. As a result the sun beats on the garage doors all day and the garage gets very hot. Anyone with experience good or bad?

BBQMan,

ROMAC on Rolling Acres Rd sells an insulation kit specifically for the garage doors installed in TV. The kit for a car and half sized door is $149 or $249 installed. Like so many things in life, it's easy to do once you've seen how it's done. We had it done in Dec and so far, we find that the garage does not heat up as quickly now with the door insulated.

My husband did the job himself. Sorry I can't say how much it cost but we bought the materials at either Hm Depot or Lowes. Definetly has made a difference with the temps for both hot & cold months.
