Default Garage Epoxy Floor Care

We purchased our home this summer. The garage has an epoxy floor that the previous owner had installed, it's perfect and a couple years old.

I have seen that some folks park on floor mats, not sure what the reason is. If I leave a car parked for several weeks without moving it due to being away, should I have some type of mat between the floor and tire?

I've been told, no need for mats. I have them under my carts, not my car.

Just make sure you re-seal the floor every four or five years.

We were told No Rubber Backed Mats. With the heat during the summer they can stick to the epoxy and ruin your floor.
