This is great, unless you have a garage floor that gets hit with afternoon sun. The light safety sensors get reflection that requires shadowing them for proper garage door operation.

Its a tradeoff. The flakes add some texture to the floor and hide stains, But they also hide dropped screws and other bits.

I agree, it does take longer for them to apply the flakes on top of the initial coat. Then they let it dry, scrape, vacuum etc. But between that flaked texture and the silicon they sprinkle with the clear coat you end up with a shiny stunning floor and no one is slipping.

I recommend Master Coatings. They use an epoxy base coat which adhers better than polyurea and it includes a vapor barrier. They then do a full broadcast of flakes so that there is complete coverage for better traction and a better look. Top coat is Polyaspartic which is the only top coat to consider. Lifetime warranty. Innovative Concrete Coatings did a great job on my garage
 
I also used Innovative Concrete Coatings 1.5 years ago. Excellent installation and result: they stayed until 8 pm to finish the job because there was a skim coat of cement on the floor the at took 4 hours to remove (instead of the usual 2 hours). Lesson learned: expensive, but you get what you pay for (and I received an excellent result).
