Default Plaza Cadillac problem resolved

Purchased a car from them in 2013. Went to purchase an extended warranty and was told car warranty date began on December 2012. Made no sense. Dealers finance manager wanted $250.00 surcharge for out of date warranty. I questioned it, saying we had 48 months beginning in 2013 January 24. They said this "was a show car, built special" for event at Disney. I said, so what, had 163 miles on it and sold as new. They agreed, but said in service as of December. What sense does that make? General Motors, Cadillac and Plaza are all lying and trying to steal $250.00 extra from us for an extended warranty. Pitiful, beyond angry. Not a lot of money but car was sold as new, never mentioned any "special circumstances" PITIFUL customer service. We should have let them go broke.

That who I ended up speaking with. They (annoying double talker) said they could not change the date. I said "so I really had a 46 and 1/2 warranty". She got rude and obnoxious. I have just begun to fight!!!!!

In my opinion, extended warranties for cars, or for anything else, are a waste of money. Also, car sales people are never truthful when selling their products. The biggest lie they tell is that they will show you an invoice that represents what the dealer actually paid for the car. It doesn't. I will never understand why car manufacturers cannot clean up their industry so that their products are sold to their customers in a totally fair and honest way.
