Default Help! I need the siding on my home repaired!who do I call?

We had a very careless worker burn and melt some siding on our front porch. The company is willing to pay for it to be repaired but I need to know who to call. Any recommendations?

Try calling home warranty first 352-753-6222, they should be able to give you the original installer as well as the original color. One word of caution, if your house is a few years old, the siding may have faded, so you will need discuss the best way to repair the wall.
Hope this helps.

OK, there is a company, ABC supply as I recall, stores in Leesburg and Ocala, and I think they carry the typical villages siding. Take a picture of a good area of siding with a ruler on the siding as this will help identify the specific siding. I would still call home warranty as they should still be able to tell you the specific siding and color. Then you can caoo ABC and see if they have anything suitable. Lastly if the fading is too great, then take a piece of old siding to Sherwin Williams, Lowe's, Home Depot, or ACE, and have suitable vinyl paint mixed to match the faded siding, and then paint the repaired section. Finially, you can fade the painted area into the original siding by dragging a dry brush from the wet paint to the old siding.
Hope this helps. Send me a PM if you would like to discuss further.

White aluminum matched an older home perfectly. Small job .

I wouldn't go out of my way to match the color of the old siding. As stated above, you can buy a custom paint to match the old siding. I have done this on several houses, and it is very difficult to tell the painted section from the original.

I would still call warranty dept, they will tell u original company. They probably are still working in TV. Our 10 year old house had a issue with outside light, company found matching light. Save lots of Money instead of replacing all.
