Default House numbers question

We’ve seen a number of homes that have sleek modern looking house numbers added to their stucco homes. They appear to be metal numbers that are screwed? Into the stucco. Most are either above the front door or somewhere on the front of the garage. Anyone know who does this type of work?

We have owned two homes in TV and neither had the address on the house. In each case the number was just on the name/address shingle that both owners took with them. For this house I ordered a house number plaque like the one shown below from a seller on Etsy. We didn't have the proper type of drill bit for exterior stucco so I glued it to the house with Liquid Nails or something similar. (You could ask the folks at Home Depot for a product that would work.) Then I used a small tube of glossy black silicone caulking to fill in the holes. Looks good, I think, and it was very easy to do.

Good luck.

We went to Lowes and bought our numbers. Just attached them to the stucco with anchor screws.

Has anyone removed the numbers that are stuck on the front window? If so did you need approval from the emergency services to do so?

Yes, I do realize that not all houses have them on the front window.

Those numbers are left over from construction. Have nothing to do with emergency services.
We left ours on, hardly noticed.....and maybe would help in an emergency.

I'm not sure that's why I asked!

It might have been in the 47 plus pages of things we all signed upon closing.

I'm actually surprised that there isn't a page that we sign declaring that we wont remove them!!!

The numbers come from Lowe's. I have also seen them on Amazon for 8.00 each. A handyman can install with ease.
