My hot water tank went out on us several days ago, been down here in tv for 5 weeks so i called the home warranty service called AHS/American home shield, they sent out a plumber yesterday from AZ plumbing, he told us the screen in the bottom of the gas hot water tanks sometimes go bad, could not fix it and AHS would pay for a new one, they called this morning and said they were not going to honor it, that someone punched a hole in the screen to by pass the home inspectors..............unbelievable!!that plumber never said anything to us about that, ahs trying to wiggle out of paying for it.
I called mandy of pro plumbers, he is not just a master plumber but one step above, a licensed by the state plumbing contractor who took care of our problem immediately.
Mandy also showed me the screen which this plumber from az was talking about, nothing wrong with it, the unit did turn out bad though and had to be replaced.
Mandy also at one time supervised much of the new plumbing work done in the villages in new homes.

Wed. He is going to put in a water filter in the garage, not those expensive things people are always trying to sell us, but for approx $285 and i change the filter every 6 months which filters the water in the entire house.

Now have to go file a complaint with the florida consumer agency over american home shield home warranty who wont cover what they are suppose to.
