Which Village? It matters because some vendors are only available in certain areas.

Comcast services most of the Villages. If your looking for highest speed they are the best. If your looking for cheap you will want to look elsewhere.

I've heard Spectrum is pretty good. Comcast/Xfinity Internet is not as reliable in The Villages as it was up north, but it's still a decent deal (around $50/month for 100mbps for up to 5 devices simutaneously, not including modem rental, which I recommend you buy, not rent).
There are others, and they all depend on your exact location. Unfortunately the Villages is not technologically up to date; most places still don't even accept Apple Pay, Google Pay, or Samsung Pay at the cash registers yet. |

Call the villages sales office, they should be able to tell you who provides internet in your area, otherwise as noted above, tell us which village you are moving into.

Your choices are Comcast or Century Link. If you want to do a lot of streaming, your real choice is Comcast....

I suggest SPECTRUM. They all use similar and sometimes the same hardware, but I have been impressed with Spectrum (used to be Brighthouse) customer service. Most problems are fixed over the phone quickly, and if not a tech was sent in relatively short period of time.

I use Xfinity by Comcast. I pay $29.99 a month for 25 mps. That’s plenty for streaming.

Century Link in Village of Pine Hill. This is our third experience with them. Basic internet $65 with a contract. $85 FOR LIFE. internet and land line phone NO CONTRACT! This has the highest speed available on fiber optic.

We are very happy with Spectrum, but they are not available in all villages.

I live in Monarch Village. I have had Spectrum since I moved to Florida 2017. I work from home. I have had no issues with spectrum, very fast. And when you call you are taken care of fast. However at this time they are swamped. But we moved in sat 3/21 and they came out to set us up. Rates will very for what you want.

Anyone other than Comcast/Xfinity. Terrible experience with them in TV. Moving to new house in May and I am leaning towards Spectrum. They even have a local office.

They're both costly - continually raising prices

We have CenturyLink for internet only as we have Direct TV because we throw our boxes in our motorhome during summer travels. Ours is $45 month period for life (or as long as we have it) no other taxes or anything. I believe it's gone up to $49.00 a month flat fee for life;never had a problem.
