Default Lanai Enclosure Contractors

Considering enclosing a Lanai on a Patio Villa. Any contractor recommendations? Any recommendations on Glass versus Acrylic? Full Length glass or Pony wall.

Custom Windows and Exterior Design did ours this summer and we are very pleased. All glass sliding panels. Hired them after a recommendation from a neighbor who used them in the spring.

We chose All Season Rooms (owner Chip Vandall) after getting bids from 3 other contractors. Chip and his son Josh are a little more expensive than other contractors because of their construction ethics of using higher quality materials and they don't cut corners like we learned other contractors sometimes do. Our Sumter County inspector told us -- this is how the job should be done. All Season Rooms is a family-run business that is focused of quality. They don't treat you like "just another project". Chip will gladly provide you with references where you can see their work. We chose picture windows from floor to header to enclose the majority our lanai.

I prefer glass. Acrylic often gets old looking. But less expensive.

I prefer full glass, to easily see garden from the house/lanai.

Have fun! Think about your goals; we all have our own reasons for enclosing a lanai. Cleanliness? Temperature? Privacy? Extra space? More furniture options? Desired views? Desired accessibility? Florida Room vs enclosed lanai?
