Lanai flooring
We are enclosing our lanai and want to install ceramic tile. We have talked to Roberto’s and wondering who else we should get estimates from. We would prefer someone with a showroom so we can see options. Thanks.

I highly recommend FLOORMASTERS on 301 in Wildwood. They have a showroom and will be here in the years to come. They are one of the firms that TV contract with on the new homes. Just my $.02

Be sure that a crack stop or crack suppression product is included in your flooring project. This is a thin (1/32 inch) material, looks a lot like tar paper, it get glued to the concrete, and then the thin set is applied for the tile. When a crack develops in the concrete, it will not (should not) cause the tile above to crack.

I see adds for "Rubber Floor". I have looked it up on you tube and it appears to be a good product. Has anybody here had it done yet? I would like to see a finished project.

On a side note, the crack suppression can be as expensive as the tile. Prices vary, but the product that appears to be used in TV recently cost me $125 for 150 square feet, similar product at Lowes and Home depot, was over $400 for the same amount.
