Default Looking for a home inspector recommendation

Does anyone know of a good home inspector?
My new home warranty will be expiring in a few months and I would like to have someone go through it before the warranty has expired.

Dear Bernie,
First, congratulations on your new home. As you know, The Villages is a one of a kind amazing place. I know you are looking for recommendations, so of course feel free to see what others advise.

I just wanted to say we would be honored to have a chance to earn your business. We are one of the very few companies that specialize in Warranty inspections in The Villages...it is about all we do and we are passionate about it. We simply love what we do and strive to do our very best. There are many different Inspection companies out there...some very good, (we often recommend the good ones to folks if we cannot fit them in), and sadly there are also a few that are not so good. It is wise for you to look for recommendations.

If you do a search here for "Home Inspectors" you will find many other threads asking the same thing, and many folks have given their recommendations. I'm humbled to say that folks have been very kind and we have earned very many favorable reviews.

Anyway, please feel free to check out our website, dangeloinspections or give us a call anytime at 352-250-7818. I typically return voicemails in the afternoon and evenings after inspections.

Thank you for your time.

Respectfully, Frank D'Angelo ACI

From the experience and recommendations of many on this forum, hire Frank Dangelo. He will do a great job for you.

Yet another vote for Frank. I tried to hire him when we bought our newly-built house and he talked us out of it, saying we'd be far better served to have him do an inspection a month or two before the 1-year warranty was up. So he basically turned down what would have been free money because I didn't know any better. The man is honest and I value that. When I did hire him 10 months later, he was very thorough and really great to talk to and work with. In fact, I would be surprised if you could find a negative word about him or his work anywhere in this forum and he is recommended a LOT.
