Default Massage recommendation

I would like to give a gift to a couple who have been very good to me, and I thought I might give them a gift certificate for massages for the two of them. Can anyone recommend a spa or other facility (not a sex parlor) where they could have a great rejuvenating massage that doesn't cost hundreds of dollars? Thanks.

If you want just a massage and not a chiropractor, try the services at MVP Health Club in Spanish Springs.

Another vote for MVP at Spanish Springs, in the old Sales Office on the 2nd floor. They do sell gift certificates. Everyone's definition of "reasonable" is different but I found their prices to be reasonable and competitive.

When I lived in NJ I would go to the local massage school for weekly massages. Granted that these were students and the quality of the massages might be different (however never bad). These massages cost $25 plus tip. My wife found that there is a School of Massage in Ocala at Rasmussen College Student Massage clinic. The address is 2221 SW 19th Ave. Rd., Ocala. Phone # is 352-291-8588. Don't know any more but it might be worth a phone call to get information.

The reason I haven't called yet is because I still have 2 massages pending at Spanish Springs Health Club.

Not sure what the prices are for an individual massage. My hubby always buys me the packages of massages. You can also do that & give one of them away. It's cheaper, but not sure what it is right now.

You can get massages at Southern Trace Chiropractic without being a chiropractic patient there. Just so you know...I'm sure other practices would be the same!

Prices for massage at MVP - $59 for 1 hour. However, if you buy a 5-pack the cost is $48 per hour. And - you don't have to be a member of MVP to use their massage facilities.

CharTalk is right on the money. I brought a three-pak gift certificate for my bride and paid around $160 for it at MVP.
