Default Mercedes Service

We are new to TV and have a 2007 C280 which needs some basic service. Is there a reputable shop in the area?

If you want to take it to an M-B shop, you can go to Gainesville and Orlando. I take mine to Sanford (MB of North Orlando) which is slightly closer - I always get a loaner and the prices are fair. Gainesville will pick up your car and leave you with a loaner but I have found their prices to be higher.

Others have recommended a non M-B shop in Leesburg. But I have never used them for my cars. Here is their website: http://automasterofleesburg.com/

Let me know where you go. On Monday I'm taking my wife's 2005 E320 CDI to Sanford. She just broke 44k miles - after 10 years!

Have used Automasters in Leesburg for our mercedes. Steve specializes in foreign cars. They are honest and reasonably priced. I believe they can do everything for Mercedes except get keys.

If you see a similar car far behind you, you know it will be my wife!

Thanks for the two new service locations. I think I will be taking my wife's car to one on it's next scheduled required service.

Will do. My problem is that I also own a 2012 ML-350 BlueTec that still requires dealer care.

Unless you bought a service plan, you really aren't required to take it to the dealer for service. The warranty is still good as long as maintenance has not been neglected.

Default We have used Accu-Tech on both cars

..Very reasonable...Example, after going to Mercedes Orlando, told that we would need new motor for 500SL convertible top, cost $2200, went to Accu-Tech, he discovered and fixed problem with motor, cost $100, that was 3 years ago..
If he can't help you, he will send you to someone that can, had problem with S430 SRS, sent us to Ocala Autobahn.

btw: Where in NC is/was your home....We are from Morganton.....Also, Welcome to paradise!
