Just ignore it, tip the guy and you'll be fine.

Tip an electrician? Now that’s funny!

Franchises have a much better chance of surviving five years than a non franchised business. Like any other business - which is owned individually - there are good and reputable owners and not so good. If it's a good franchisor they will ensure that their individual franchisees are maintaining a high ethical standard.

Not on point. Too many variables by location to make blanket judgment. Unnecessary risk with so many excellent companies here. No need to make this complicated

Come to think of it, that's "OLD Sparky".

Ha! You beat me to it!

We had the same pitch telling us that our house needed a surge protector. Didn't even look at the issue we called them out for. Couldn't get them out the door quick enough.

so many will bite and take the upgrades in all walks of life from a repair company to the dental office and beyond.. know what you want and just say no to extra.. remember they are running a business .. need all the upgrades they can get a customer to say yes too..

For what it’s worth - As a new homeowner, was recommended and used Lenhart for two projects and one repair; highly recommend!

Respectfully, DB

I have no experience with Mr. Sparky. Additional work? Is it a scam or do you need additional work? Imagine a post, I hired Mr. Sparky to do??????? The guy was here but didn't tell me about?????? and my home burned down, my guest was injured etc.

You see a doctor for say a splinter. They might well say are you aware of your high blood pressure or whatever.

There is no shortage of crooks. I've called the Villages Office and asked who they recommend.
We've not needed much repair. The companies they suggested were honest and we were happy. Cheap? No matter what the business is too cheap and you can bet it is an attempt to cut corners and or upsell.
