Have a Whirlpool in my house and it totally ruined my good china.
Had to go to Sam's and buy more Chinette plates. Grrrrr

My BIL ordered his Bosch from Lowe’s and got a 10% discount because he was a vet. Need to order in advance. By the way it’s so quiet you don’t know it’s running ! Great appliance.

Bosch is the best. Sooo quiet. You will not have trouble finding someone to work on it. Chances are you will never need it worked on. I have one in my last two homes.

My whirlpool is awful it’s 2 years old and doesn’t dry the dishes or silverware. There is not a 2 yr warranty., the warranty starts when they buy them for the houses. When I closed on my house I discovered from whirlpool there was only 9 months left on the warranty. All of their appliances are pretty mediocre. I’d never buy a whirlpool on my own.

Last summer we bought an LG on sale at Best Buy (who beat everybody else's price) and it is quiet and cleans better than the Bosch we had in PA. Model # is LDF5545SS. Good luck with whatever you purchase!

Look at Kitchen Aid, Lowes. We bought one. 39 decibels. Like it very much, and it was in stock!!!

Love our new Bosch. It’s so quiet it projects a light on the floor to let you know it’s on. With the 3rd rack we can add all the weird sized cooking spoons, spatulas etc and even drink lids. But the best part is it flat out works. Everything comes out clean, every time.

Default Bosch, Bosch, Bosch

Bosch is the answer. Our home does not have a Bosch and we are considering preempt changeover to Bosch. I have heard that Best Buy's installation is not the best. We recently had some plumbing work done by Mike Scott Plumbing, highly recommend and they said they have a set price for installation.

Watch out if you are getting installation from Lowes via website. I got charged double because there is a slide out garbage container between the dishwasher and sink, eg. a longer distance and didn't find out until the installer was here. Gee, appeared to take 5 minutes longer to install and one longer hose. If the Bosch hadn't been so highly rated at a lower cost I would have refused.

I just bought a lower end Bosch for my parent's house. It needed to be white, quiet and available. I found what I needed at Lowe's and I am very pleased with the Bosch. I definitely would recommend it.

We bought our Bosch dishwasher from Lowes. Also had our handyman Derek Phillips install it for us. Totally happy with the whole thing.

When I bought mine, I used Consumer reports, too. The washer was around $700 and a very nice looking machine. My wife's complaint.....it was too quiet!! She was concerned it wasn't running - hahaha. She also didn't like the controls in the top of the door (yeah, I know) but it sure gives the front a clean look. It has a stainless tub and I would certainly buy another one when the time comes.

We have had Bosch dishwashers in our last 2 homes. Great and SO quiet- the only way I knew it was on was the a small red light shining from the the bottom of the dw onto the floor.

Default 16 years and still working

16 years 'old', BOSCH DISHWASHER is STILL working great, quiet and never had to be repaired! Worth the extra money.

If you want the absolute best Dishwasher, buy a Miele. Bottom of the line, about $1000; top of the line, about $3000. Third level rack for silverware, water softener, and air drying are some of the features. We bought one 7 years ago in NJ ($1300). We liked it and brought it to the Villages in 2017.

Bosch was our other choice (less expensive), but spending our sons' inheritance was more fun.
