Need gas line run for pool heater
We're having a pool and spa put in and need to get someone to run a gas line to the heater. Same side of house as the gas meter, not too far. Anyone know who to call for this or have recommendations? Thanks!

I'm surprised the "pool & spa" installer can't handle directly or via a subcontract. Try Fireplace Installers. They installed my propane tank and ran lines to the generator, gas range and grill.

We had T&D install a gas heater for our pool to supplement the solar. They handled the permits and getting the gas line to the new heater. YOU WILL need a permit to get this kind of a thing done.

Thanks! Fiesta is doing our pool but they don't do the gas hookup. Called Mike Scott Plumbing, got a quote for just shy of $1500 (plus permitting). Seems high, but maybe that's the going rate?

Fireplace Installers is the current sub contractor for T&D pool installations.
They will be significantly less $$$$ than Scott plumbing. Very labor intense as the trench to lay the gas line is dug by hand to avoid all the misc. utilities and services buried in and around the perimeter of the house. |
