Default Need a Handyman

I am looking for recommendations for a local handyman to do some minor alterations to the "barstool height" portion of our kitchen. Basically my wife wants to do away with the overhang portion of the counter. Any help will be appreciated.

Wood or stone, makes big difference. IMHO, removing the overhang will be a serious concern when you go to sell the house.
In either case, you will probably have to remove the existing counter top and completely replace. If you are lucky, you will be able to match the countertop. Call home warranty to get the information on the original installed counter top, this will be very useful if you need to remove and replace.
