Default Need small business advise

Is there an advisory group that assist small businesses in the villages?

Thanks in advance for any assistance you can provide!

Yes, SCORE is what you are looking for and I think they have a local rep.

Here is the website:
Mid-Florida | SCORE

Also, look at your deed restrictions, you are not allowed to operate a business from your home.

Might get more responses if you tell exactly what kind of business and what kind of advice you are seeking. FWIW

CFrance's husband volunteers for SCORE year-round. I suggest you send her a PM.

I would like to amend one part of your statement, Bare. "Works" is a misnomer, as SCORE is an all-volunteer arm of the Small Business Administration. There is no payment or charge.

Also, my husband mentors anyone no matter where they or we are, via telephone and email. He's got clients in The Villages with whom he's in contact every week via phone from our summer location, which is out of the country. So his is a year-round service.

Thanks for mentioning him!

I stand corrected. CFrance's husband volunteers for SCORE.
I didn't realize he is in contact with people every week by email or phone.
Neill - I suggest you send a PM to CFrance; or perhaps she has already contacted you.
