The villages gps ap will give you a speedometer. It cost 7 bucks and works for roads and golf cart paths

If you need a lane drift alert in your golf cart, you are in trouble. 19.9 MPH Max speed in a golf cart is a joke around TV. So many retirees in such a hurry to go nowhere. OH yeah, might miss 2 minutes of Happy Hour. (Sorry, no happy hours since mid March). Slow down. Remember, you are no match for a car.

your cart shouldn't be rigged to go over 20mph....

Garmin's makes a GPS navigation device that warns you when you cross the line. Speedometer and all of the bells and whistles. About $100

Hello, question...... Do you know where I can get a gas gage installed for my golf cart? Thanks

If you have a smart phone there is a speedometer app that works great. Just attach a cell phone holder to the window frame or in a cup holder. Also has a full screen display for us older sight challenged folks.

Mine uses up battery life like crazy.

Just a FYI, my gas gauge never really worked that well so I had it replaced two years ago. The new one is worse than the old one.I fill up every 160 miles or so. But to answer your question, any cart mechanic can do this for you.

When I someone passes me and I'm doing 20, I think what's the rush? Nothing is really open, are they rushing to get home?

Nothing is open? Aside from restaurants, grocery stores, dentists, doctors, gas stations. etc.

I was in TV Golf Cart store last month at Colony, they had these hanging on the wall for $15.99.

When I bought my cart new from TV years ago and I was getting all the options added, they installed a gauge like this for $75 between the flasher toggle and the key ignition, mine works good.

Speed limit in my neighborhood is 15. Speed limit on Paige Ave near Spanish Springs is 10. I went thru there at 10 and had car riding my bumper until he noticed the speed trap in the parking lot. I do find my speedometer to be useful enough to have one.

Had a power/usb plug installed. Now my phone stays charged and I can use the speedometer and my golf course GPS installed on my phone.
