I saw the sign up on the property a few days ago and was excited to see this happening. Hopefully it won't be a Costco or Walmart, but maybe something so us girls don't have to go all the way to Ocala... like Steinmart or Macy's??? fingers crossed.....

We can have both! Costco anchor on one end and Steinmart or Trader Joes on the other!!

I like it! Good choice. Now if only my wife would allow me to eat there.

My wife would like a Home Goods and a Talbots. I would like a Dick's Sporting Goods or Bass Pro Shop.

How about - Trader Joe's, Hooter's, Dick's Sporting Goods, and Macy's. A little of everything for everyone! And ladies - remember Hooter's is safer than viagra for your men and does the same thing. Plus - their hot wings really are delish!

Costco seems a bit wasteful in an area that's mostly just couples and singles in homes with no storage sheds or basements. I mean, how many 40-pound tubs of potato salad and 50-roll packages of toilet paper can they sell to Villagers?

Wonder how long we will have to guess what the stores will be? Don't get down that far very often so will keep checking in here to see any new developments. I vote for any/all of the suggested stores. I would patronize them all!!!!!!

I want a Costco, too!!! I've requested it both through Costco and a person who deals with retail in TV (who said they've made contact, but Costco is focusing on larger markets, like Orlando -- but keep contacting them and requesting!) Yes, there are other stores that would be nice, too, but you are mistaken to think that Costco is just "40-pound tups of potato salad and 50-roll packages of toilet paper".
