Circuit City has failed to find a buyer and is closing the remaining 500 plus stores.

Do you think with all these shopping centers being built around town that eventually The Villages will look like a 1970's and early 80's downtown of any american city? I can't help to think that eventually we are going to suffer here in The Villages with the closing of many of these national retailers and restaurants. The Ocala paper stated that another four restaurants have closed in the past several weeks. I am getting concerned because my wife is a bad cook.
