Heard Bed, Bath and Beyond was another. We went by there yesterday for the first time in a while and were surprised at the progress and size of the complex. I believe I read there will be no golf cart access.

Sam's Club (thank goodness!). Kohl's was going to open a store here but backed out for some reason.

I heard A.C. Moore was building there too. Can't wait for that store to open.

Sure hope that A.C. Moore is coming . That would be awsome. Sure would be nice to have a fabric store in the area, as well. Kind of inconvienent to have to go to Ocala for crafts and fabric.

Ditto on AC Moore - I need that. Also need a huge fabric store, am tired of going to Ocala & Taveres to find fabric.

Not good news about a craft store closing. Does that mean it wasn't well received? :dontknow: :dontknow:

We don't have A.C. Moore up north here. Is it similar to Michaels (a rather large craft store) or Holly Hobby?

Kohl's probably dropped out of the complex because they are no doubt cutting back on new store openings like many other retailers. All are rethinking their expansion plans. Walmart has cut new openings as have Target, K-Mart, Talbot's, and others. Too many stores, not enough shoppers. Folks are cutting back on spending as fuel, power, food all increase in the face of escalating mortgage and credit costs.
