Just had them put two lights on our new outside patio wall with a dimmer switch inside & had an extra outlet installed. They were here & done within 2 weeks. They would have been here sooner but we ordered special bases for the lights. We would use them again. Very professional!!

We've had two good experiences with Pikes. Fast, efficient, on time, and reasonable. I don't doubt others' experiences, but it's so strange that they're good and they're bad. Maybe it depends on who (whom?) you initially contact. Somebody must be dropping the ball over there.

Pike's is a major electrical sub-contractor for the Developer building many of these new homes you see being constructed in TV. Pike's did the electrical work on my home in Sanibel 20 months ago. I had a breaker problem which they properly fixed.

It's no excuse but I would guess they are "spread thin" right now. I would be inclined to go with another electrical contractor if I wanted to get something done quickly that wasn't under warranty.

We went to Pikes for the fan lights, and found one that took ONLY the small candelabra type bulbs for the style we wanted, and these did not have a good option for LED lights. Went to Lowes, and found universal lamp assemblies that installed flawlessly.

Now for a word of caution, the ceiling lamps were setup for adding lamps, and the wiring to the ceiling lamps had a RED wire installed for the lamp circuit. THE RED WIRE WAS NOT CONNECTED AT THE WALL SWITCH. So bottom line if you do not know what you are doing, you will need an electrician to complete the installation.
Hope this helps.

We have used Howton for all our electrical needs since moving here. They have installed many outside outlets for us and ceiling fans and much more. Very reasonable, professional and on time excellent work.

Folks, fan light kits are not hard to install. Ours was pre-wired, took 5 mins. to complete the job. Our fans were wired at the switch as well for the lights and bought a double switch so we could have a switch for both the fan and light independently.
