Default recommendations for a home watch service

We are purchasing a home in the Village of Glenbrook and will be snow-birding the first year or two. We are looking for someone to be our eyes and be available to flush toilets, check on A/C, etc. when we are not there.
What do other snow-birders do?

I follow the one is the same as none and two is one theory.

I use home watch and also have monitors to check for water leaks. An energy monitor tells me if any number of the electric powered devices (fridge, HVAC and so on) fail. The thermostat sends an email if the humidity gets too high.

My logic is what happens if a problem develops an hour after home watch leaves?

Last week a poster reported that someone shut off his irrigation water at the curb. Home watch didn't tell him. I would know about it that same day.

If all this sounds like overkill I respect that, but for me it is inexpensive insurance and worth the piece of mind.

I have used Lighthouse Homewatch for many years,
and found them to be excellent.
