Default Replacing sliders with french doors

Our house is a Lantana. The lanai was converted to a sunroom by the previous owners but they left the [ugly/heavy] sliders between the living room and sunroom. We would like to replace them with french doors. Has anyone done this and, if so, can you recommend someone who could do this for us?

Thanks!

I bought the doors at Lowe's and contracted the work through them. They also handled the permit.

I also hired Lowe's and their subcontractors to remove our sliders and replace them with French doors with interior blinds. The transaction was smooth and the end result was beautiful. I waited until Lowe's was discounting their doors and windows 15% and I was able to take advantage of the lower price.

Did you purchase interior or exterior doors? I talked to someone at Home Depot (tentatively picked out interior doors) and then had the space measured. Got a call a week later and was told interior doors couldn't be ordered in the custom size we need. Not sure if this HD guy knew what he was talking about. You know how sometimes you just get that feeling about somebody.

Mine were exterior doors since the opening is technically on the exterior of the house even though the sliders led to the lanai. My opening was standard size, though.
