Default Screen in front porch

Just bought a home in Kayla Villas. Would like to screen in front porch, and add screen door. Facing east, so want to use blocking mesh. Recommendations? Does the contractor get the approvals or do I? Thanks!

You will need to get approval from ARC. The contractor usually gets the permits needed, but I’d make him/her show them to you. Ask the contractor.

I always get ARC approvals myself now, I relied on a contractor one time and they did NOT get approval, found out after the fact. long story, but i was able to get approval after the fact.
