Default Slider Repair

Can anyone recommend someone to repair an exterior slider that appears to be leaking? I was informed today that Romac will no longer do slider repairs.

The best people to call even if you are no longer under warranty is WARRENTY. They have clout with the people who built your home and you may get more help than you expected. My advice is to behave nicely and don't demand.

Call The Villages Warranty Department (352-753-6222) and they can tell you who originally installed the sliders and if they are gone usually they will recommend a vendor.

Take a look at your slider tracks, there should be one or more weep holes on the outside bottom track. If these get clogged, the water (rain) can backup into the house. Just clean out the weep holes and they should drain correctly. Hope this helps.
